The Monthly Web Marketing Advice by Expandify:
Are you spending a large amount of money on digital ads with little ROI?
It is becoming increasingly important to use video content to increase brand awareness and reach online. Not only is it an effective way to raise awareness for your brand and increase engagement, but it’s also the best way to convert customers online. However, a lot of users are unaware of the power of video content in 2019. Earlier this year, Renderforest compiled a list of video marketing statistics to find out more about how users interact with video content and how marketers are implementing video content in their marketing strategy and the results they acquire from it. It turns out that video content is a crucial tactic in digital marketing strategies.
Here are 5 statistics on why you should jump on the video content bandwagon in 2019: by 2019, 80% of global Internet consumption will be video content. Marketers who use video grow revenue by 49% more than non-video users. 90% of users say that product videos are helpful in the decision process. 7 out of 10 millennials are likely to watch a company video when shopping online. After watching a video, 64% of users are more likely to buy a product online.
So if you are ready to up your marketing game in 2019, it comes to the importance of video content in your strategy on social networks, the data exaggerates the power of video content: it is no longer a question, it is a necessity in increasing brand awareness and converting your prospects into clients with an increase in ROI. A cost-effective way to keep up with this trend is to outsource your production to a digital marketing agency that already creates five-star video content for your brand in 2019 and can tackle every level of your sales and marketing funnel with converting video content.
To learn more about the best practices discussed here or how to improve your current video content and online marketing, Expandify Marketing offers you a free strategic planning session! You can contact their team: by phone (514) 973-2083 or email contact@expandify.ca You can also visit the company’s Website.
Molecular Forecaster: how are drugs discovered?
Last month, we looked at the business side of the entire drug-to-market process. This month, we will drill down specifically into the pre-clinical research elements that generate a drug candidate for clinical trials. Scientists spend several years :
-Understanding the biology that causes a disease or ailment
-Finding a molecule that has an impact on that biology, usually in a test-tube
-Optimizing that molecule to be safe and effective in an animal.
Let’s examine, in very general terms, what this means for research and how it is next-to-miraculous that we have medicine.
-The mechanism of disease. Consider a car that stops running. The underlying cause can vary widely, but a good mechanic will identify the specific missing/broken part. Similarly, biologists and biochemists enable most of drug discovery by elucidating the machinery of the human body. They determine what “part”—usually genes and/or proteins—malfunctions, causing your headache, nausea, constipation, etc. Since the human body is substantially more complex than a car, finding the hidden defect is far from trivial and can take years.
-Hitting your mark. When we think about drug discovery, this is often the step that comes to mind. Designing a molecule to repair the aforementioned flaw is, by most accounts, the “easiest” part of the overall process. In brief, and generally, a molecule is needed to switch on or off a broken protein. While it is not “easy”, there are predictive tools and extensive knowledge to facilitate this discovery. Unfortunately, the molecule is unlikely a drug or medicine, yet.
-Threading the needle. Now it gets difficult. To make a drug is to solve an immense Rubik’s cube. The molecule from the previous step should, ideally, be taken as a pill, go to the problem-area of the body (brain, heart, skin, …), have its effect, and ultimately leave the body. The molecule needs to NOT be removed too fast (no effect), removed too slow (other effects), or interact with other proteins (side effects). The metabolized drug should also abide by these rules. Like a Rubik’s cube, each element here is related; if you modify the drug to stay in the body longer, you may also cause it to go to a different location, for example. Without the right balance, you don’t yet have a drug.
Their software predicts numerous elements of these processes. If you’d like to learn more or inquire about their software and services, please don’t hesitate to reach out. E-mail them at info@molecularforecaster.com, or visit their Website.
