CAMP
In the mid 1960s, while employed in the Service Department at Grumman, Daniel J. Ryan conceived of and introduced a computerized maintenance program for the then new Gulfstream II corporate jet. Shortly thereafter, in 1967, he and three co-workers left the aerospace giant to found CAMP and bring Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Programs to the business aviation industry at large. This founding team developed programs for a variety of aircraft. These programs were accepted quickly and widely. Gulfstream I operators North American Van Lines and Trans Canada Pipeline signed on as CAMP’s first customers.
Today, CAMP has grown to become the world’s leading Aircraft Maintenance Tracking Solutions provider. CAMP’s product suite includes Maintenance Management, Inventory Management, Flight Scheduling and Engine Health Monitoring. Zero-OHM
The Zero-Ohm Multispeaker System was named Best New Product Technology at the Innovations Showcase at InfoComm 2017. Their passive devices interconnect between any amplifier and multiple loudspeakers without worrying about amplifier speaker loads, impedance and extremely long cables runs. Until now, the ability to connect multiple speakers in parallel was confronted by the issue of operating the amplifier at a safe impedance. Although there are amplifiers that operate at 4 ohms and 2 ohms safely, any effort to drive them below the rated resistance load led to device failure. With this revolutionary invention, the rules have changed. Their technology is ideal for: hotels, shopping malls, amusement parks, stadiums, bars, cinemas, restaurants and much more. If you would like more information about the company, please visit their Website.
Lil Tracker

Monthly Sustainability Tips & Insights from ERA: The Season for Giving Sustainably
It’s already November, and you might be wondering how the year went by so quickly. Many businesses at Technoparc have begun planning their holiday parties and starting annual reviews. For many, this season is about peace, love, and the spirit of giving.
Social sustainability is often overlooked in corporate planning, but it’s a fundamental third pillar in global sustainability efforts. It’s about strengthening our local communities and being responsible businesses so that we contribute to a stronger overall city. You don’t need to wait until 2019 to get started – here are a few ideas:
If you’re having an office holiday party, consider donating any leftover food to Old Mission Brewery or a local women’s shelter. These organizations are always in need of donations!
Have a food drive for the food bank.
Remember to elect designated drivers for your events and drink responsibly. Carpools are another great option. Some businesses even pay for metro rides to get staff home safely.
Adopt a charity for your business. Some businesses give staff hours off in the holiday season to volunteer, while others facilitate weekend volunteer events or workplace fundraisers. ERA supports Angels of Mercy, a registered charity that delivers warm food and clothing to homeless persons in downtown Montreal. We have donation boxes in the office and have regular fundraiser events. Please visit helpfeedthehomeless.org to learn more and join us.
Get involved with Movember, an annual campaign to raise funds and awareness about men’s health, and research into testicular and prostate cancer.
For more information, please send an email to ERA at info@era-ehs.com or see their Website.
The Monthly Web Advice by Marketing Ultimum: 3 New Social Networks Trends
For more than 10 years now, social networks have taken our daily lives by storm. Companies must now give them a place of choice in their marketing strategy, and it is the job of their marketing agents to put in place the often-new strategies that will further promote engagement with Web users. Here are 3 new important trends in social networks, which will mark the year 2019:
1-Messaging Apps and Chat Robots: We all know the popularity of messaging applications, such as Facebook’s Messenger. It is now possible to use chat robots that will initiate communication autonomously with potential buyers of your products or services on social networks. Businesses can do this on Messenger, WhatsApp and Kik, all of which are very popular apps among Millennials and now-aging kids of Generation Z.
2-Augmented Reality (AR): The so-called “augmented” reality, which adds virtual visual elements to a real landscape, already begins its entry into the social world with certain features available. Snapchat’s geo-filters are a good example. These allow businesses and marketing agencies to create sponsored filters that showcase the company’s brand image. Users then take photos (or “snaps”) with the graphical effect associated with the filter. As an overview of this technology’s scale of impact on the market, the International Data Corporation predicts that the expenses associated with the augmented and virtual reality market will reach 210 billion CAD by the end of the decade. It is, therefore, a subject to watch closely.
3-Live Streaming: A very important thing stands out in the run-up to 2019: the authentic and personal interactions favor more than ever the engagement of Internet users towards brands. In addition, organizations that stand out (and thereby “convert”) on social media are those who know how to create this sincere connection with their audience. Direct broadcast is available to all and available on more and more platforms. This is a win-win situation, as traditional video shooting requires more preparation and post-production work, which is not the case with live streaming. Therefore, the best path is to let your own spontaneity speak; it’s paying off with his audience.
