Technoparc Montreal

At the forefront of science
and technology parks

Technoparc Montréal is Canada’s first science park. It brings together a community of more than one hundred innovative companies in the life sciences, aerospace and technology industries. Its mission is to foster the creation and growth of companies in these industries as well as to provide rental space and land.

Managed by the Ville de Montréal, the Technoparc is a science and technology business park with an international vocation, and a research and commercial development site.

Our history

The Technoparc de Montréal project began in 1987 with the creation of the Centre d'Initiative Technique de Montréal, CITec. In 1988, the Technoparc Montréal Métropolitain was launched.

The Novotel opened its doors in 2006. In 2008, Technoparc Saint-Laurent became Technoparc Montréal.

In 1994, Astra Pharma announced a $ 33 million investment to build a research laboratory on the Saint-Laurent campus.

In 2012, the Neomed Institute opens its doors and the Éco-campus Hubert Reeves is created.

In 2016, the light rail project of the CDPQ Infra is planning a station in the Technoparc de Montréal and infrastructure work begins in the Éco-campus Hubert Reeves.

Construction of Place Innovation, the future Nortel building, began in 1999. In 2004, Bombardier, now based at Place Innovation, began its C-Series project.

In 2015, several real estate projects are launched: Green Cross Biotherapeutics, ABB and 4Degrées.
