If they do not have enough pollen-producing food sources like milkweed and clover, they will not be around for much longer. The sudden absence of monarchs will play a detrimental role for the environment and our way of life! Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals play an important role in contributing to the health of the planet. These native species help flowers pollinate, are responsible for pollinating plants, producing one third of our food, sustaining our ecosystems and producing our natural resources by helping plants reproduce. There are many organizations bonding together to help save the monarch butterflies from extinction and you can jump on the band wagon.
